This high-efficiency Nordyne filter is an OEM replacement for nominal filter size 22" x 22" x 5.25". The exact dimensions of this filter measure 22.5" x 22" x 5.25". It's important that your replacement filter fits the system slot properly. The easiest way to find the proper dimensions of the filter you'll need is to remove the existing filters and check the numbers printed on the side. Should you notice that the existing filter is clearly too large or too small, of your system does not contain a filter at this time, we recommend using a measuring tape to calculate your ideal dimensions. The exact dimensions of the filter you purchase should be slightly smaller than your calculations.

Model 918759 & MAH-1056C filters offer MERV 11 protection to keep particles down to .3 microns in size away from your unit and out of your home. Examples of particles you'll trap with this filter include household dust, coal dust, insecticide, dust mites, pollen, mold spores, fungi, bacteria, pet dander, cooking smoke and grease, and tobacco smoke particles.
This filter should be replaced every six to 12 months. Check your filter every month after the six month mark to ascertain whether or not a replacement is needed. Filters requiring replacement will be visibly dirty, and you may notice a significant drop in air pressure due to buildup.
